Blockbuster update on when Bobby Lashley could show up in AEW - Reports

Bobby Lashley is no longer with WWE, but he might be ready to take a new step in his career. The 48-year-old has been linked to AEW since he departed the Stamford-based promotion back in August, and a new report claims that his debut could happen as soon as next month.

Lashley was a member of the popular Hurt Business stable in WWE a couple of years ago. The All Mighty stood alongside MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. Many fans think that the faction was axed too soon, but MVP seemingly plans to revive the group outside WWE as The Hurt Syndicate.

MVP made his first move on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam this week when he shockingly appeared during a segment in which Prince Nana addressed Swerve Strickland's status. While the former WWE Superstar wasn't flanked by Lashley and Benjamin, Ibou of WrestlePurists claims it's only a matter of time, at least for the latter.

Ibou stated on X today that Lashley and MVP's move to AEW has been an open secret for months. He also claimed that The All Mighty will get his All Elite graphic in October. Whether this brings the official debut of The Hurt Syndicate remains to be seen.

Jeff Jarrett thinks Bobby Lashley would be a great addition to AEW

Bobby Lashley is a former WWE Champion and a prolific in-ring talent. The 48-year-old has rare size and athleticism and has succeeded as both a babyface and a heel in the past.

AEW's Jeff Jarrett recently gave his thoughts on Lashley amid rumors of the latter's All Elite debut. Speaking on his My Wold podcast, Jarrett brought up The All Mighty's time in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling:

"Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying, I was a huge fan of his going way back, the TNA days, we'll call it the Impact/Anthem days, and certainly today," Jarrett said. "But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I'll say that. Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done."

It seems that MVP has his eyes on former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. Whether Bobby Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate can get Strickland to join their faction remains to be seen.
