Details on AEW possibly threatening CM Punk with legal papers revealed - ReportsĀ

CM Punk and All Elite Wrestling have been intertwined in various fiascos ever since the infamous backstage altercation between Punk and The Elite. Since then, Tony Khan and management have had their hands full, dealing with the suspension of all parties and adjustments to their plans moving forward.

As of late, Punk has reportedly been involved in talks for his return, specifically at AEW Collision. However, some misunderstandings still need sorting out, including rumors of the Chicago native being given legal notices by the promotion.

According to the latest report by Fightful Select, while Punk and AEW have maintained contact over the past week, the former world champion has been said to have received the documents, but these have not been confirmed to be threats.

However, they are confirmed to be related to his current situation in AEW. These included disparagement clauses and making sure of his appearances at events for the betterment of the company.
