Former champion set for blockbuster AEW return after nearly 7 months - Reports
A former champion who hasn't been in action in nearly seven months is set to make her return. She last competed at AEW Dynasty.
Julia Hart started to show a lot of growth in her career once she joined the House of Black. This change in gimmick was just what she needed to propel her to the next level. As a member of the House of Black, she appeared with the group during segments and even competed in the ring.
Julia Hart even won the TBS Championship at Full Gear 2023. She held the title for an impressive 155 days before losing it to Willow Nightingale at Dynasty 2024 in April. Since then, Julia hasn't been seen on TV due to an injury leaving fans to wonder when the House of Black member will make her return.
Hart recently confirmed that her return was close. Now, PWInsider is reporting that Hart's return is imminent and the company has already produced several promotional videos to hype up her return. These videos have been well received within AEW. However, a return date is not known but based on this report, it looks like it may be around the corner.
The first teaser hinting at Julia Hart's return was aired at recent AEW Collision taping
Julia Hart has been out of action for several months. This injury derailed her push as she lost the title to Willow Nightingale. Since then, she has been on the shelf with few updates, leaving fans to wonder about her return. In her absence, Mercedes Mone won the TBS Title from Willow Nightingale and has looked unstoppable. However, it looks like Julia is ready to make her return and confront The CEO.
During a recent AEW Collision taping, a teaser video played showing Julia Hart. The video teased her in-ring return and also suggested that she would be going after Mercedes Mone's TBS Championship upon returning.
It will be interesting to see if Julia Hart receives the same kind of push she did before her injury.
