Former WWE star reportedly returning to AEW soon

A former WWE star is reportedly returning to AEW soon. The star has been missing in action for a while now.

The star in question is none other than Tay Melo. Melo was a part of WWE from 2016 to 2020 and was someone who had some decent matches there including an appearance on the pre-show at WrestleMania 34. Since her move to AEW, the star has been one of the best performers on the women's roster and has garnered a name for herself. Melo has not been seen in AEW for a long time as she recently became a mother.

However, things could be changing for her. PWInsider recently reported that there was backstage chatter at Collision which indicated that Tay Melo would soon be making her return.

They also gave a particular day and time when they revealed that she could be seen this coming Wednesday at Dynamite, which will take place in Norfolk, Virginia. It will be interesting to see how she will be making her presence felt there.

Bryan Danielson is getting ready for his title vs career match against Swerve Strickland at AEW All In. However, it looks like he is in high demand.

The former WWE star is someone who is hugely respected in the wrestling business and it becomes even more evident when female wrestlers want to wrestle him. That was made evident by Tay Melo a few months back.

She was asked by a fan on Twitter if she was interested in fighting anyone from the men's division in AEW. That is where she name-dropped Danielson.

"SHIBATA, Bryan Danielson, Kyle O'Reilly..."

Although an intergender match might not take place, she could fulfill her dream in the form of a mixed-tag team match. If Brie Bella makes her comeback to the ring, then both of them could take on Tay Melo and her husband, Sammy Guevara in a match that could be very interesting to watch.
