AEW star Renee Paquette was recently seen on crutches backstage on Dynamite. Some recent reports have provided an update on her current condition.
The former WWE star signed with AEW in 2022 and has been the backstage interviewer for the Jacksonville-based promotion. Renee Paquette also contributes to the company in other ways, like hosting the Close Up podcast, where she brings the All Elite talent on the show. On Instagram, Renee Paquette posted her photos from backstage of this week's Dynamite. The former RAW commentator was seen on crutches, which left the fans shocked.
In a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that Renee Paquette has a broken foot and has been working in All Elite Wrestling while being injured.

We will have to wait and see if All Elite Wrestling and Tony Khan offer some time off to Renee Paquette to heal from her injury.
AEW star Renee Paquette was not ready for commentary in WWE
Renee Paquette became the commentator on Monday Night RAW in 2018. However, her time behind the commentary desk was short. Renee had done commentary on NXT and Superstars before her debut on RAW.
In an interview on Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Renee Paquette revealed that she was not ready to do commentary in WWE.
"It's not that there's not enough respect put on what commentary needs, and to be good at commentary, they do understand that," Paquette said. "But a lot of times they're like, 'Okay, well, put Renee on; she'll be good. She's good in these other things; let's put her on commentary.' I was not ready to do commentary." (h/t: Ringside News)
