Injured star has been backstage in AEW; update on future - Reports
A star, who is currently injured, has been backstage in AEW recently. She got hurt several months ago.
Julia Hart has gained much momentum since she joined The House of Black. Hart has proven that she can compete with the best women in the company. The 22-year-old's rise saw her capture the TBS Championship last year. She held the coveted title for months before finally losing it to Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty.
Julia Hart's rise in the company came to a halt when it was revealed that she had injured her arm in April 2024. Since then, she has not been seen on television.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider was recently asked about Hart's return. He mentioned that the House of Black member had been backstage in AEW, but she was seemingly there to get checked by doctors rather than to make an in-ring return. As of now, there is no specific timeline as to when she will be back in the ring.
Julia Hart's ally Skye Blue also suffered an injury at a recent AEW show
Skye Blue and Julia Hart formed an unorthodox team during Hart's reign as TBS Champion. Blue also played a key role in Hart's title defenses. However, after the House of Black member got injured, Blue continued to wrestle on television. However, she wasn't featured in prominent storylines.
On the July 20 episode of Collision, Skye Blue competed against Hikaru Shida. During the match, Shida attempted to deliver a crossbody to Blue on the outside. However, the referee abruptly called off the match as Blue suffered an injury.
Following the contest, Tony Khan took to X/Twitter to confirm that Blue got hurt during the bout.
“Thank you all watching Saturday Night #AEWCollision tonight, right now on @TNTdrama! Our previous match was stopped + @shidahikaru was declared the winner, due to an ankle injury to @Skyebyee. Skye Blue is being evaluated now by the Doctors; we're all wishing her the very best,” wrote Tony Khan.
