Latest update on AEW's Luchasaurus’ (aka Killswitch) in-ring future after suddenly being hospitalized - Reports
A new report has shed light on the medical condition of the former AEW World Tag Team Champion, Luchasaurus (aka Killswitch). He was recently hospitalized.
Luchasaurus (aka Killswitch) has been a part of the AEW roster since the inception of the company back in 2019. He is a former TNT, tag team, and trios champion in AEW as well. Killswitch last competed in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In 2024 where he helped Christian Cage win the match.
Meanwhile, Luchasaurus has reportedly been hospitalized as he is suffering from pneumonia. Speaking on Fightful Select's Q&A recently, Sean Ross Sapp provided more updates on Killswitch's current condition. Sapp noted that he is on oxygen and his return date is uncertain:
“He’s on oxygen. He’s back home. Was told to expect recovery over a month. His in-ring return remains unclear although the doctors he has spoken to say he should be able to return to the ring,” Sapp said.
A former AEW star sent a message to Luchasaurus amid his health condition
The former AEW star, Marko Stunt was a part of the Jurassic Express group alongside Luchasaurus and Jack Perry. After Luchasaurus' reported health scare, Marko took to X to send a heartfelt message to Killswitch citing his current run on TV with Christian Cage:
"Whatever @luchasaurus has going on in his head right now, idk. But I’ll never forget the times he stuck his neck out for me, both in and outside the ring. Genuinely cared for and protected me. What happened dude? Don’t you remember everything?"
Luchasaurus broke out of the Jurassic Express a few years ago and is currently a part of The Patriarchy faction along with Christian Cage and Nick Wayne. Only time will tell what's next for Killswitch.
