Latest update on Shane McMahon's future with AEW after being spotted with The Young Bucks - Reports

Shane McMahon was recently spotted with The Young Bucks in an airport which raised a lot of eyebrows. Since then, new details have come to light regarding Shane's future with AEW.

The biggest news story this year has been Shane McMahon's reported interest in AEW. He even had a secret meeting with Tony Khan. None of the specifics of this meeting have been made public yet.

To make things more interesting, Shane O'Mac also ran into Mercedes Mone and The Young Bucks on two separate occasions at airports which led to a lot of speculation. Fightful Select is now reporting that Shane running into Mone and The Bucks was coincidental. However, it is reported that his meeting with Tony Khan was planned. Despite this, Shane has not been seen backstage at any AEW show and wasn't at Grand Slam either.

Gerald Briscoe doesn't think Shane McMahon will join AEW

Shane McMahon potentially joining AEW has been the talk of the town for the wrestling community. Ever since the meeting with Tony Khan, there has been a lot of speculation about whether or not he will make a move to the Jacksonville-based promotion.

During a Live Q&A by Sportskeeda Wrestling, Gerald Briscoe was asked about Shane joining AEW. Gerald said that McMahon is one of the smartest guys in the business but he's a WWE lifer, adding that he doesn't see him jumping ship.

"No, I don't. I think Shane O'Mac's one of the smartest guys in the business, and Shane always is a good man. He's a good person, and I think he's a lot like John and I; he's a lifer. But you never say never, but I just don't see it happening."
