Major update on 31-year-old star’s debut in AEW - Reports

A recent report has provided a potential update on a former NWA star's AEW debut. The star signed with the Tony Khan-led promotion earlier this year.

The star in question is Kamille. She inked a deal with All Elite Wrestling in February but has yet to make her TV debut. The 31-year-old is best known for her time in NWA, where she worked from 2020 to 2023. She also held the company's World Women's Title for over 800 days.

It was recently reported that the Jacksonville-based promotion had no creative plans in place for Kamille's TV debut. She recently had a tag match for a Mexican pro wrestling promotion, her only bout in 2024 thus far.

On his Backstage Report podcast on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp disclosed that AEW had graphics and other promotional materials prepared for Kamille's arrival.

“There has been some progress on a possible Kamille debut. When I say progress, I mean some materials prepared, some graphics, and the like." [H/T: Ringside News]

WWE and TNA Wrestling were also interested in hiring the AEW star

Before joining AEW, Kamille revealed how major promotions such as WWE and TNA were interested in hiring her. On her YouTube channel, The Brickhouse disclosed the following about her decision to sign with the Tony Khan-led company:

“Alright, and the question that I got the most of, the thing that’s been on everyone’s mind of course — WWE, AEW, or TNA? Luckily, I had interest from all three and I am very blessed for that. I took all of January to really think through all of my options and weigh out all the pros and cons of everything. And after much deliberation, I have decided." [H/T: Yahoo]

Only time will tell when Kamille will be seen inside an All Elite Wrestling ring. Regardless, she will likely make a massive impact upon her arrival.
