Major update on Kenny Omega's career amid AEW absence - Reports

Top AEW star Kenny Omega has been absent from in-ring action for a long time. Some believed that the veteran might not make it back to the squared circle but recent reports have provided a positive update on his health.

The Cleaner has been out of action since late last year after he was unfortunately diagnosed with Diverticulitis. Omega recently underwent successful surgery but is still far away from returning to action. Kenny's most recent appearance was a couple of months ago on AEW Dynamite where he was taken out by The Elite.

According to a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has been recovering well and his career isn't over yet. However, has not been cleared to start training again.

"Latest on Kenny Omega is that he’s doing better, and while there isn’t any kind of a date for him returning, the feeling right now is that he will be returning and his career isn’t over. He hasn’t been cleared to start any training yet." - WON

Kenny Omega shares his thoughts on Triple H's WWE booking

Triple H has been the Head of Creative in WWE for almost two years. The Game has done a great job in making the product interesting after the constant criticism by the fans about the WWE under Vince McMahon's regime.

During his Twitch stream, The Cleaner praised Triple H's way of welcoming all styles of wrestling into the company and shared his honest thoughts on Hunter's booking.

"Everyone seems to know just what he is booking and what he isn't booking. Even as a wrestler who has kind of like an inside track, I don't know what his ideas are," said Omega. "I don't know what's a result of just what comes from his brain and his brain alone, so I can't comment to that. What I do appreciate is that he's open-minded to all the styles of the world of wrestling. I think I'm sure he probably prefers one over the other or some over others, but I like that he's giving everything a shot." [H/T Fightful]

Kenny Omega is currently recovering after getting surgery for Diverticulitis. It will be interesting to see if The Best Bout Machine returns to All Elite Wrestling later this year.
