Major update on Sammy Guevara's AEW future - Reports

Sammy Guevara recently suffered a health scare. New details have now come to light about his AEW future.

Sammy Guevara is one of the most exciting stars in AEW and has gained a lot of traction for his high-flying moveset. While he has sometimes found himself in trouble for being careless in the ring, Guevara is still one of the popular stars on the roster.

Sammy is currently enjoying a good run in ROH alongside Dustin Rhodes as one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions. However, his daredevil antics almost caught up with him in a serious way. During the October 2 ROH TV tapings, Guevara had a match against Serpentico. During the match, Guevara went for a cutter off the top rope and missed and landed on his head. The match had to be called off and the victory was awarded to Serpentico. This caused a lot of fans to worry about the young star. It was reported that the match was called off to follow concussion protocol.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that Guevara has been cleared to wrestle again following his concussion.

When the match against Serpentico was called off, things looked bad for Sammy Guevara. He had to be stretchered out of the arena which caused a lot of fans to worry about the young AEW star.

Even his tag team partner Dustin Rhodes had to take to social media to send a heartfelt message to Guevara expressing how much he values their teamwork and friendship.
