Major WWE star won't be at AEW Forbidden Door 2024 - Reports
A top WWE star will reportedly not be appearing at the AEW Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View. The star in question is none other than the former SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya.
The Queen of Harts has been with the WWE since 2007 and is considered an experienced veteran of the Women's Division. She is a former SmackDown Women's and Women's Tag Team Champion. Nattie is an important part of the Stamford-based promotion due to her family's rich legacy. However, Natalya's contract with the company is reportedly set to expire soon and the 42-year-old has not been approached with a new offer.
During a recent Q&A session of Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Natalya will still be under contract with the WWE during the Forbidden Door PPV.

Mercedes Mone would like to see WWE Superstar Natalya join AEW
The TBS Women's Champion Mercedes Mone is no stranger to Natalya as both women have spent time together in WWE and NXT. The rumors of Natalya's contract expiration have been spreading widely and the female star has even removed mentions of the WWE from her social media accounts.
Speaking in an interview with Maggie and Perloff, Mercedes Mone stated that she would love to have Natalya and her husband, TJ Wilson in AEW.
"I have heard little rumors of a certain girl that I really, really love. I don’t want to name names because if I say their name, then you know the other competition might just want to get them that much quicker. So, if we have a chance to get her, I would absolutely love her and her husband to be here. But that’s just that… Just go on X, Twitter, or Instagram. I’m sure the fans will figure it out." Natalya is one of the top female stars in the WWE. It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based promotion offers her a new contract.
