Multi-time WWE champion to follow MVP into AEW soon - Reports

A former WWE Superstar is reportedly expected to become All Elite and join MVP in AEW. The star being discussed is Shelton Benjamin.

The former United States Champion is known for his highly athletic skills, but he never received the spotlight he deserved in WWE. He finally got some recognition when he became a part of Hurt Business alongside Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and MVP. The faction was a huge success during the pandemic era, and all three active stars held gold in one instance.

However, the stable was separated in 2022. Shelton Benjamin was then released from the company in September 2023. He has been a free agent for almost a year now. Recently, his former Hurt Business manager made his debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion at Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Not only did MVP make a surprise appearance, but he also confronted Prince Nana and revealed that he wanted Swerve Strickland under his management. Many fans predicted that this could eventually lead to the arrival of the Hurt Syndicate, a name possibly trademarked by the 50-year-old star. Fans speculated that Shelton and Bobby could be part of the faction.

A new report from Ibou of WrestlePurists claims that Shelton Benjamin could sign a deal with Tony Khan's promotion.

It will be interesting to see when the former WWE champion will make his AEW debut.
