Shane McMahon has finally broken his silence regarding the recently surfaced image of him meeting up with Tony Khan. This came via a certain WWE Hall of Famer, with this being Bully Ray (fka Bubba Ray Dudley).

Earlier today, a candid photograph of Khan and McMahon in a meeting room surfaced all over the internet. Following several rumors that both sides have been in talks, this fed into the speculations even more.

Bully Ray reported on X/Twitter a few hours ago that he had gotten off the phone with Shane McMahon and that he had the latest scoop regarding the meeting, which he disclosed on Busted Open After Dark.

According to the Hall of Famer, Shane mentioned how he and Tony Khan talked about their love for the business, and he even congratulated Khan on their accomplishments so far. McMahon also said how he was looking forward to the company's evolution.

"Tony and I were connected through a mutual friend and we had a great meeting. We talked about many things, but mostly about our shared love for the business and the rewards and challenges of working with family. I congratulated him on the five year anniversary of AEW and look forward to how he evolves the business moving forward."
