Shocking backstage update on Mercedes Mone; two major AEW stars unhappy with her - Reports

Mercedes Mone is currently undefeated in AEW. She arrived in All Elite Wrestling earlier this year and became the TBS Champion in her debut match at Double or Nothing. New backstage details have come to light regarding multiple stars having issues with Mone.

Saraya and Britt Baker are reportedly unhappy with The CEO. Mercedes Mone made a splash upon arriving in AEW and was quickly pushed to the top, winning the TBS Championship from Williow Nightingale. If that wasn't enough, she went on to win the Strong Women's Championship as well.

According to reports by Ringside News, Mercedes has been receiving special treatment backstage in the form of her very own locker room, which is an amenity that hasn't been extended to anyone else on the roster. It is also reported that her entourage travels with her for every show.

As a result of this special treatment, Britt Baker and Saraya are reportedly unhappy with the TBS Champion. It is also reported that Baker was having issues behind the scenes with Mone being a major source of frustration.

In recent months, there have been plenty of reports regarding her current deal in AEW. Mercedes is still being booked strongly despite failing to garner any interest for her matches. Many believe she hasn't been the big draw that Tony Khan was expecting her to be.

Mercedes Mone on her friendship with Kalisto

During her time in WWE, Mercedes Mone made a lot of friends like Bayley, Tamina, Naomi, and many more. They were present to watch her make her AEW debut earlier this year. It appears that there is one more former WWE star who is close to the CEO.

During a recent edition of her Mone Mag newsletter, Mercedes disclosed that she is very close to Kalisto and his wife. She also mentioned how the luchador helped during her trip to Chicago for All Out.

"Speaking of wrestle friends, one of my besties is also Kalisto. I have always been so close to him and his wife. You know how much I invest in my wardrobe, inside and outside the ring. I happen to love the store Akira in Chicago. That being the case, I went on a pretty big shopping spree when we were there for All Out. I bought so many clothes that it would be a nightmare for me to haul all those clothes to L.A. and then to Orlando. Kalisto, being an amazing friend, volunteered to take them all back for me. It was a huge relief but another reason I go hard for my wrestle friends – they go hard for me!" [H/T: Mone Mag]

It will be interesting to see if AEW will continue to provide this special treatment for Mercedes Mone despite her not being a huge draw.
