Tony Khan's blockbuster AEW plans revealed; details on when it could be announced - Reports
Tony Khan is preparing his company for the second annual AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium, but a report has just shed light on a major event that could rival the London show. It seems that big plans are underway for All Elite Wrestling in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
AEW has enjoyed some of its most passionate live audiences in the State of Texas. Dallas, especially, has been kind to the Jacksonville-based promotion, and many fans have called for the company to host a pay-per-view in the area.
Tony Khan recently closed a deal to host a residency of sorts in Arlington, right in the heart of the DFW metroplex, with a summer series of AEW Collision and ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 being hosted in the city's state-of-the-art, Esports Stadium.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, there could be even bigger plans in the works. According to Fightful's sources, Tony Khan is planning a major event in the DFW area in 2025. Hints have been dropped that it could be a stadium show on par with "AEW's biggest event."
AEW's biggest event is undoubtedly All In at Wembley Stadium in London. To be on par with that, it would almost certainly have to be a stadium show. For DFW, that could indicate that Khan will be running a pay-per-view in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, where the Dallas Cowboys play. WWE has run the stadium twice, with both WrestleMania 32 and WrestleMania 38 taking place there.
Tony Khan has big plans in the works for the rest of 2024
AEW has been gaining momentum in recent weeks, with an upswing in live attendance and slightly increased ratings. On the back of several acclaimed storylines, Tony Khan has reemerged on social media with a positive message.
The All Elite Wrestling Chief is known for his social media antics and his unabashed promotional style. But what usually gets fans talking is when Khan tweets cryptic messages to hype the upcoming weeks or months.
The All Elite Wrestling President did just that recently, taking to X (fka Twitter) to express his excitement for the rest of 2024.
"I'm so excited for the rest of 2024 @AEW!. I think that this will be the best year in AEW yet," he wrote.

This is an important year for All Elite Wrestling, as its contract with Warner Bros. Discovery is up for renewal. Whether there will be upheaval or renewed optimism as we enter the final few weeks before All In 2024, remains to be seen.
