Two popular AEW stars could join Mercedes Moné's stable after Kamille "quits" - Reports

Mercedes Moné has been AEW TBS Champion for just over six months, hitting the milestone mark after retaining over Kris Statlander at Full Gear. The win came amid heavy tension between Moné and Kamille, which blew up just days later. Now sources are revealing potential major plans for The Moné Corporation.

The Brickhouse quit working for the former Sasha Banks on last week's AEW Dynamite after being berated once again for her recent loss to Statlander, just a few weeks before Moné defeated Statlander at Full Gear to retain the TBS Championship. At the pay-per-view, Mercedes ordered Kamille to stay backstage as punishment. She then went to fire the 32-year-old, but Kamille quit instead.

The CEO named her faction as The Moné Corporation months back, but fans continue to point out how this was just a tag team with Mercedes and Kamille, and now it's just down to one member - the leader, who is somewhat associated with Kazuchika Okada. However, a new report from Fightful Select reveals that AEW officials have discussed multiple additions to Moné's stable for some time.

Sources have revealed that at least two new members have been considered for The Moné Corporation: The Renegade Twins of ROH and AEW. It was indicated that All Elite officials have discussed plans for Moné's faction going back months and that Robyn Renegade and Charlette Renegade have been front-runners the whole time.

It remains to be seen if The Renegade Twins will link up with Moné now that Kamille has quit. The potential alliance is especially interesting as Mercedes once named the former NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions as her perfect partners for a potential Stardom stable.

Charlette had been out of action with injuries since the ROH tapings on December 23, 2023, but she returned to action in mid-November at a TCW indie event. Robyn has continued to work singles matches for AEW and ROH while her sister was away, last competing on October 26 in the Collision loss to Penelope Ford.

AEW President Tony Khan praises The Renegade Twins

Tony Khan has publicly praised The Renegade Twins in interviews and on social media. The AEW President once revealed that he personally invited the real-life sisters to wrestle for the company in their hometown of Dayton, OH on February 1, 2023, at the Nutter Center.

Charlette Renegade and Robyn Renegade were defeated by Saraya and Toni Storm at the Rampage tapings that night. Shortly after those tapings, Khan praised the twins to Busted Open Radio:

"I really like the Renegade Twins, they’re tremendous. I asked them to come in specifically a few weeks ago. Asked for them because they were in Dayton, Ohio, their hometown. I wanted to give them the opportunity to wrestle in front of their families and their friends. They’ve been tremendous. I’ve brought them in for Dark several times, I really like them both. I think Robyn and Charlette do tremendous work," Tony Khan said. [H/T to WrestleZone]

The Renegade Twins had already worked six AEW matches when Khan invited them to the Dayton tapings in February 2023. They debuted at the Dark tapings on January 8, 2022, losing to Anna Jay and Tay Conti. Robyn made her debut as a singles talent at the Dark tapings on May 12, 2021, losing to Thunder Rosa. Charlette's singles debut came as a loss to Nyla Rose at the Dark tapings on June 5, 2021.
