Here are a few bold predictions for the upcoming event.
#5 & #4 Katsuyori Shibata and Willow Nightingale become champions; Toni Storm makes her AEW return
Katsuyori Shibata is a legend in the eyes of millions of wrestling fans across the world. Although he has won numerous championships in New Japan Pro Wrestling, he has yet to win one in All Elite Wrestling. This could change at WrestleDream as he looks to defeat Jack Perry and become the new TNT Champion.
Additionally, Willow Nightingale could become the new Women's World Champion by defeating Mariah May. This could happen after "Timeless" Toni Storm makes her much-awaited return to the company and costs her former friend her title. This will lead to a captivating Storm-May rivalry, which is long overdue.
#3 Kyle Fletcher turns heel by attacking Will Ospreay
The Don Callis Family storyline has gotten very chaotic in the past few years. "The Invisible Hand" has been trying hard to make Kyle Fletcher attack Will Ospreay and side with him. However, the Australian native has always taken his best friend's side. This could finally change at WrestleDream.
At the upcoming pay-per-view, Fletcher might finally use a screwdriver to attack Ospreay and cost the International Champion his title. Furthermore, Konosuke Takeshita could end up becoming the holder of the gold. This can kickstart an emotional rivalry between "The Aerial Assassin" and Fletcher.
#2 & #1 Bryan Danielson retains his championship: Shane McMahon debuts
Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley is going to be one of the most important matches in the career of both men. If Danielson loses, he will quit being a full-time wrestler. Interestingly, we believe that he will retain his championship.
He could win the match after Shane McMahon makes his All Elite Wrestling debut. The former commissioner of SmackDown could help the champion defeat Moxley due to the two having a good working relationship. Furthermore, the trio of McMahon, Danielson, and Yuta would certainly make an interesting combination.
