The Hurt Syndicate to make AEW debut and cause a title change on Dynamite tonight? Exploring the possibility

Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin are heavily rumored to sign with AEW. They were previously employed by WWE, where they were once members of a formidable faction known as The Hurt Business. Its fourth member, Cedric Alexander, recently re-signed with the Triple H-led promotion.

The Hurt Business will reportedly be renamed to The Hurt Syndicate outside WWE. This new name has been trademarked by Totally Harmless Concept LLC, and fans of the Jacksonville-based promotion are awaiting the group's arrival. While there is no official confirmation if the trio will join All Elite Wrestling, they might shock fans by causing a title change on tonight's AEW Dynamite.

On this week's Dynamite, Jack Perry is scheduled to lock horns with Lio Rush for the TNT Championship. There is a possibility that The Hurt Syndicate will intervene in this showdown, leading to The Scapegoat dropping his title.

Rush was signed to WWE from 2017 until his release in 2020. He managed The All Mighty and even teamed up with him inside the ring. However, their partnership was short-lived. Since the two wrestlers have worked together before and have a good relationship, it will make perfect sense to pair them up again. Furthermore, the 29-year-old could become the fourth member of the rumored Hurt Syndicate.

AEW performer Lio Rush learned an important lesson while managing Bobby Lashley

In a conversation with Chris Van Vliet last year, Lio Rush revealed that while working with Bobby Lashley, he took a closer look at the former WWE Champion's career and realized that the industry he belonged to was not a sprint but a marathon.

"I think being with Bobby, seeing the things that he accomplished and seeing that he left WWE and came back and is still flourishing in a healthy career, showed me that it’s [pro wrestling] a marathon," Lio Rush said. [H/T: Fightful]

Lio Rush is undoubtedly one of the best performers in AEW and pro wrestling as a whole. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him and The All Mighty.
