The Judgment Day's title reign to end after Triple H brings in former AEW champion to WWE? Looking at the chances
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H could finally book the end of The Judgment Day's ongoing World Tag Team Title reign by bringing in a former champion in AEW. The star has been rumored to sign with the Stamford-based promotion for quite some time.
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day became the WWE World Tag Team Champions earlier this year in June. However, the duo has barely defended the title. Nevertheless, Triple H could bring in the former AEW Champion in question, Penta El Zero Miedo, to dethrone the World Tag Team Champs.
It was recently reported that Penta El Zero Miedo is free from his AEW contract. The former All Elite World Tag Team Champions, Penta, and his brother, Rey Fenix have been rumored to sign with WWE for months as well. However, Fenix's contract status with Tony Khan's promotion is still uncertain.
Nonetheless, Penta El Zero Miedo could be brought in and added to the LWO faction on RAW alongside Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and others. In order to make Penta's debut feel special, Triple H should book him and Rey Mysterio to capture the World Tag Team Championship from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Triple H on WWE's upcoming big move
With the start of January 2025, WWE RAW will be airing live on Netflix as part of a five-year deal.
During the recent Survivor Series: War Games 2024 post-show press conference, Hunter told everyone to wait and see what's in store ahead of the big move:
"What should people expect? Hopefully, if we do our jobs well, they'll [fans] get that same level of storytelling and athletics that makes WWE as big as it is. There’s a lot of speculation about what we’re going to go to and how it’s going to be at Netflix, and the truth is we’ll all just have to wait and see. Even now, it is a little bit of, some of that stuff is up in the air."
Moreover, only time will tell what new storylines, free agent signings, and so on are in store for the fans ahead of WWE's move to Netflix considering Triple H's statement.
