Tony Khan to feed two WWE-bound stars to Jon Moxley before their alleged AEW exit? Exploring the possibility

Jon Moxley and his stable are perhaps one of the most intimidating factions of all time. The AEW locker room fears them. Furthermore, they possess the AEW World Championship (Jon Moxley) as well as the AEW World Trios Championship (PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta).

Over the past few weeks, the Blackpool Combact Club has pulled off some despicable stunts. They humiliated former stable member and AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson by attacking him at the All Out pay-per-view. Furthermore, at WrestleDream, after Moxley defeated him for the title, the group brutalized him again. This attack was so violent that The American Dragon was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. Ever since the Purveyor of Violence became champion, he, Shafir, PAC, Castagnoli, and Yuta have been going after babyfaces in the company. Tony Khan might further elevate this dominant faction by feeding them two WWE-bound wrestlers: Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey FĂ©nix (The Lucha Brothers).

Several reports suggest that The Lucha Brothers are on borrowed time in All Elite Wrestling. They may be heading to WWE, so it will not be a huge issue if Tony Khan books Moxley and Co. to give the former AEW World Tag Team Champions a storyline injury. Their momentum will not be harmed as they seemingly don't have a long future in the company. This will only increase the faction's dominance and credibility and make them even more feared.

Orange Cassidy challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship

In this week's Dynamite, former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy delivered a passionate promo. In it, he challenged Moxley for the AEW World Championship.

"Jon Moxley, I challenge you for the AEW World Championship and I take the symbol of this company and what it represents, and I take it out of your bag, and I put it in my backpack!" said Cassidy.

It is now official. Moxley and Cassidy will lock horns for the aforementioned title at Full Gear 2024.
