Tony Khan must unleash AEW's best-kept secret

AEW's current roster is star-studded. Founded only five years ago, this Jacksonville-based company has emerged as WWE's first proper rival since the "Monday Night War" days. Even though they lost one of their biggest names, CM Punk, last year, many fans believe that Tony Khan's promotion still has the tools to achieve immense success.

Over the years, Khan has signed numerous former WWE stars. Some of them became major players in the Jacksonville-based promotion, however, a few haven't been seen or heard from in a while. In April 2020, the Stamford-based company released several wrestlers due to budget cuts, among whom was Miro (FKA Rusev).

The 38-year-old made his AEW debut later that year, and he was booked very strongly. Unfortunately, over the years, the former TNT Champion has almost faded into oblivion. Miro is reportedly injured. When he makes a full recovery and is ready for in-ring action, Tony Khan must pull the trigger. The company needs "The Redeemer" to claim his kingdom.

Miro is a vastly experienced performer as he spent a whole decade honing his craft in the WWE. He has faced massive names such as AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, John Cena, Sheamus, and more. Additionally, he won the WWE United States Championship thrice.

The star is built like a tank and is an exceptional in-ring performer. Although he lacks some skill on the microphone, he can make up for it with natural charisma. Hopefully, Tony Khan will AEW's best-kept secret back to Dynamite and book him as a force to be reckoned with. This move might even help the promotion tip the scales in their favor.

AEW star Miro says that he will come back "stronger than ever"

In a recent Sportskeeda Wrestling exclusive interview with Bill Apter, The Redeemer gave an update on his recovery. Most importantly, he revealed that he will "come back stronger than ever."

"I have a shoulder injury and an elbow injury that occurred late last year so finally took care of it in January, and got a whole bunch of shots. And now I'm recovering, rehabbing, and will come back stronger than ever," said Miro.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Miro and how the All Elite creative books him.
