Tony Khan to suspend massive AEW star for his actions at All Out pay-per-view? Exploring potential punishment
AEW All Out saw a lot of great things and not-so-great things. The pay-per-view featured an extremely personal showdown between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page. Fans also saw a massive betrayal after one of the matches.
The Blackpool Combat Club betrayed Bryan Danielson after he retained his World Championship in a match against Jack Perry. In a shocking turn of events, Jon Moxley choked out The American Dragon with a plastic bag and made his intentions clear alongside his teammates, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC.
The attack by Jon Moxley was very dangerous and warranted punishment. All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan is known not to tolerate such things, especially if the one who suffered is his World Champion.
On Dynamite, Tony Khan could lay down the law and suspend Jon Moxley for his vicious attack on Danielson. In doing so, he could bring himself back into the fold after being away from the limelight for a few months.
AEW issued a statement after Jon Moxley attacked Bryan Danielson
The attack on Bryan Danielson by Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli has not gone down well with the fans. Given the nature of the attack, there was going to be a huge backlash. Now, the company has come forward to put out a statement.
After the show, AEW took to social media and wrote that they would not post any pictures or videos of the attack, as the visuals were so horrifying.
The company issued the following statement on its official X handle:
"Due to the graphic nature of the attack on Bryan Danielson, we will not be sharing the footage. AEW does not condone such actions."
It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan will lay down the law on Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli this Wednesday on Dynamite.
