Welcome to the latest edition of AEW News and Rumor Roundup. Here's where we bring you all the biggest stories of the week.

A wrestling veteran recently discussed the ongoing speculation of the breakup between Adam Cole and Britt Baker. Meanwhile, there were some rumblings about another backstage incident in All Elite Wrestling. A recent report has shed light on the matter.

And last but not least, we finally have an update on Bobby Lashley's potential next move. Continue reading as we dive into the week's top three news and rumors.

#3. Dutch Mantell weighs in on Adam Cole-Britt Baker breakup speculation

Adam Cole and Britt Baker have been dating each other since 2017. The AEW power couple has even worked together on TV several times.

A few weeks ago, Adam Cole, via his Discord server, announced that he was moving out of Florida to settle in Pennsylvania alone, sparking breakup speculation.

Speaking on his Story Time podcast, WWE veteran Dutch Mantell explained why he thinks Cole and Baker have broken up:

“We said he is moving by himself back to Pennsylvania... He is from there, right? Usually, people move back home, and there is nothing to hold him here in Florida, so he is gonna go back home. I would say that they are separated, broken up,” he said.

AEW's most beloved couple haven't been seen together for some time. Despite the online speculation, fans should take their separation rumors with a pinch of salt as neither Adam Cole nor Britt Baker have commented on the online gossip.

#2. Another backstage incident in AEW?

All Out is in the history books, but fans are still reeling from the events that transpired at the marquee event. One such incident allegedly took place backstage moments before the AEW World Championship match between Bryan Danielson and Jack Perry.

Some eagle-eyed fans saw the security men "sprint" backstage. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, a member of the production guy got into a big thing with an unnamed wrestler, who wasn't booked on the show.

The two men were said to be shooting something backstage when the alleged incident occurred. The word making the rounds is that the men involved talked it out and everything was fine.

The situation may have escalated backstage, which is why a bunch of security members ran to the backstage area. Regardless, Tony Khan seemed to be in good spirits during the media scrum, suggesting everything was hunky-dory.

#1. Is Bobby Lashley AEW bound?

Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin have been heavily linked with a move to All Elite Wrestling since parting ways with WWE.

Lately, there have been some talks about the trio reviving The Hurt Business under the new name 'The Hurt Syndicate' in All Elite Wrestling. A trademark for the same term was filed last month.

Ibou of WrestlePurists recently fueled the rumors when a fan asked him about the possibility of Bobby Lashley and others debuting in the Jacksonville-based promotion soon.

Ibou simply responded by saying "yes."

The Hurt Syndicate can help boost the trios division and feud with the current champions - Pac, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli, who appeared to have been wreaking havoc backstage under the leadership of Jon Moxley.
