Top AEW star to dethrone Jon Moxley; only to be dealt a massive blow? Looking at the chances
A former AEW World Champion could dethrone Jon Moxley amid their ongoing feud. The star could also suffer a blow even after winning the title in a massive twist.
After successfully retaining his AEW World Title at Full Gear, Jon Moxley has been involved in a feud with multiple stars such as Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and the top star in question, 'Hangman' Adam Page. The Anxious Millennial Cowboy has yet to win the World Championship since losing it in 2022 despite being involved in the championship picture.
Adam Page could be the one to dethrone Moxley and capture the World Title at Worlds End 2024. Jay White, 'Hangman' Page and Orange Cassidy have been dealing with The Death Riders for the past few weeks. Furthermore, Page is gradually undergoing a character change as he adopts a babyface gimmick again.
Going by the current scenario, Moxley will likely defend his World Title against Jay White, Adam Page, and Orange Cassidy in a four-way match. Page could walk out of the bout as AEW's top titleholder. However, Christian Cage might decide to cash in his World Championship contract to dethrone Page.
Although Page and The Patriarch made a deal at Full Gear, Cage could betray him as he would want to become the World Champion at any cost.
Jon Moxley is set for a tag team match on AEW Dynamite
Jay White, 'Hangman' Page and Orange Cassidy have formed a union to deal with The Death Riders. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley is set for a big tag team match on Wednesday. Moxley will team up with his Death Riders partner, PAC, to take on the team of Jay White and Orange Cassidy on Dynamite: Winter is Coming.
It remains to be seen what transpires in the tag match on Wednesday and how the story between Moxley and his rivals progresses.
