Top AEW star seemingly pays homage to The Undertaker on Dynamite
AEW World Champion MJF seemingly paid homage to none other than WWE Hall of Famer and legend The Undertaker on Dynamite tonight.
MJF was involved in a hard-hitting match with Bullet Club Gold’s Juice Robinson, where he appeared to show his vicious side after a very long time. The AEW World Champion won the match despite a lot of interference from The Gunns, who were on the outside.
Another important thing that happened during the match was MJF paying homage to The Undertaker by making The Phenom’s iconic throat slash gesture just before hitting his finishing move.
The Undertaker praised MJF last month in Scotland when he was asked which current opponent he would like to face. He promptly replied without any hesitation, “MJF.”
The Salt of the Earth took to Twitter and acknowledged the gesture made by Taker, saying that there isn’t any higher praise than The Deadman's.
With Maxwell Jacob Friedman seemingly making a Taker reference during his match, it could very well be his tribute to the legend and could also go on to be a part of his persona going forward.
