Top AEW tag team splitting for the first time since 2020 for a hostile Worlds End match? Looking at the hints
All Elite Wrestling has a stellar tag team division. The reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions are Private Party, which consists of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen. In the past, these titles were held by The Young Bucks, Sting and Darby Allin, FTR, Kenny Omega & "Hangman" Adam Page, and more.
One of AEW's most popular factions is The Acclaimed. The main tag team of the group consists of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. Meanwhile, its third member Billy Gunn has a manager/trios partner role. The Acclaimed was formed in 2020. They have seen both, good days and bad days. However, it seems like Tony Khan is thinking about splitting the duo.
For several weeks AEW has been dropping hints of The Acclaimed's split. Caster and Bowens have not been on the same page for a while. The members have been having disagreements and arguments and it seems like this faction is living on borrowed time.
There is an immense possibility that The Acclaimed will finally split in an upcoming Dynamite. Tony Khan might even book Max Caster vs. Anthony Bowens at Worlds End 2024. This match would certainly be brutal, hard-hitting, and a show-stealer.
AEW star Anthony Bowens explains how his tag-team partner Max Caster creates his raps
The Acclaimed's entrances are unique. They enter to Max Caster's verses, which the 35-year-old raps live on TV. In a recent interaction with Digital Spy Anthony Bowens, explained how his tag-team partner comes up with the bars.
"I'll just bring the topics, and then he'll disappear into the bowels of the arena and go into his creative process, and I almost prefer that because I like my reactions to be more authentic," said Bowens. [H/T: Digital Spy]
The Acclaimed are former World Tag Team Champions. They held the titles for more than 135 days.
