Top star to officially turn heel for the first time in AEW and align with Mercedes Mone? Exploring the chances

A former AEW Women's World Champion may turn heel for the first time and join forces with current TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks). The unexpected turn can take place during the upcoming edition of Dynamite.

The top star in question is Hikaru Shida. She has been a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster since April 2019. Shida has held the Women's World Title three times during her tenure. On the latest episode of Collision, she wrestled Skye Blue, and the match was called off after the latter suffered an injury. The Japanese performer celebrated like a heel, raising many eyebrows.

Later, Hikaru Shida challenged Britt Baker to a match on the upcoming episode of Dynamite. The bout has now been made official. Interestingly, Baker is currently feuding with TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Therefore, Shida could officially turn heel for the first time in AEW by aligning herself with The CEO on Wednesday.

The potential turn could take place after Britt Baker defeats Shida. The 36-year-old could help Mone take out The DMD with a two-on-one assault.

It makes a lot of sense for Shida to embrace her dark side since she has suffered many significant losses lately. Fans must stay tuned to find out whether the three-time Women's World Champion actually turns heel on Wednesday.

Mercedes Mone called for Britt Baker to be arrested

Mercedes Mone called for top AEW star Britt Baker to be arrested after their altercation on this past Wednesday's Dynamite.

Baker was sitting in the front row dressed as a Sting fan and revealed herself after attacking The CEO. On X/Twitter, Mone sent the following message:

"I want this fan arrested! 👮🏾👮🏾"

The animosity between Baker and Mone is increasing with each passing week. Only time will tell what's next in the high-profile rivalry.
