Triple H to bring former WWE Diva after 4 years for one last run in the company? Exploring the possibility
A former WWE Diva could be brought back to the company by the CCO, Triple H, four years after her release. The diva has had two separate runs with the Stamford-based promotion.
The former WWE Diva in question is Maria Kanellis. Maria has had two separate runs in the Stamford-based promotion. Her second run ended after her release from the promotion back in 2020. Kanellis is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling along with her husband, Mike Bennett where she made her debut in 2022.
Meanwhile, Maria Kanellis recently revealed that her contract with AEW is set to expire at the end of October 2024. Furthermore, her future seems to be uncertain after the contract expiry. If Maria decides to leave Tony Khan's promotion, Triple H should bring her back to WWE four years after her last run with the company.
The Cerebral Assassin could bring the 42-year-old star back and use her in a managerial role onscreen. While Maria is currently dealing with some medical issues, Hunter could bring her for one final run in the Stamford-based promotion before she decides to part ways with pro wrestling.
Kanellis last wrestled in a mixed tag team match on RAW back in 2019 where she teamed with her husband, Mike Bennett to take on Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Moreover, Bennett is still signed with AEW as of now.
