The WWE CCO, Triple H, could bring in a former AEW star to his promotion, which could lead to a surprising heel turn. The star recently teased joining the Stamford-based promotion as well.
In the past few years, Triple H and the WWE administration have brought in multiple stars from major promotions, especially from AEW. Meanwhile, a star who was recently released from Tony Khan's promotion could be seen in the Stamford-based promotion. The star in question is Jose the Assistant.
Before his release, Jose played the role of a manager for the LFI faction. He also managed Andrade El Idolo during his time in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Meanwhile, Andrade has been on the WWE roster ever since his return to the company earlier this year. Therefore, fans could expect a reunion between Jose and El Idolo.
Jose potentially teased joining WWE recently. In case The Cerebral Assassin brings in Jose the Assistant to the Stamford-based promotion, it could lead to Andrade's heel turn and him aligning with his former manager.
Although Andrade El Idolo's run since his return has been decent at best, he has yet to be involved in a major program, as he seems directionless as of now.
Triple H on the rumored departure of veterans from WWE
It was recently reported that the former WWE champion, Bobby Lashley, along with his former manager, MVP, are set to depart the promotion as their contracts are set to expire, as per rumors. Triple H was recently asked for an update on the rumored departures of Lashley and MVP by Mail Sport and stated the following:
“No (there isn't an update on rumored departures). Just like any sport, any business, we sign talent, talent contract runs out, we release talent. It’s just part of the process, so it’s an ongoing thing.”
Henceforth, only time will tell if Bobby Lashley and MVP have departed the Stamford-based promotion and what the future has in store for them.
