Triple H needs to immediately sign 39-year-old AEW star as the newest member of Latino World Order
A top AEW star is set to be a free agent soon and it would be the right time for Triple H to bring them to the WWE as the newest member of the LWO. The star in question is none other than Penta El Zero.
The Masked Luchador has done it all in professional wrestling outside the WWE. He signed with AEW in 2019 and is a former World Trios Champion in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Penta's contract with the company is reportedly set to run out between August and September 2024 and recent rumors suggest that a move to the WWE might be possible.
Penta El Zero arriving in the WWE after leaving AEW and joining the Latino World Order (LWO) with Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Zelina Vega could be a great start for the Luchador. Mysterio and Penta have had battles in the past in Lucha Underground.
Could Penta form a Tag Team with Rey Mysterio after AEW exit?
Rey Mysterio has won multiple WWE Tag Team titles with various partners in his illustrious career. Penta El Zero is no stranger to Tag Team competition as the veteran has captured Tag Team Gold multiple times with his brother, Rey Fenix, in the Independent circuit.
The master of the 619 introducing Penta El Zero to LWO and going after the World Tag Team Titles on Monday Night RAW could bring more prestige to the faction and make it one of the top acts on the Red Brand.
Rivalry with Rey Mysterio for the control of LWO
Rey Mysterio has dealt with many problems within the LWO ever since the faction started. The Hall of Famer was first betrayed by Santos Escobar who went on to form Legado Del Fantasma and feuded with Mysterio's LWO on the Road to WrestleMania. Carlito also surprisingly betrayed Mysterio after attacking Dragon Lee and officially leaving the faction.
AEW's Penta El Zero could come to Monday Night RAW and immediately demand full control over the Latino World Order from Rey Mysterio. Both high-flyers could go one-on-one and have a great match for the control of the legendary faction.
Retire Rey Mysterio from professional wrestling
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio's career has spanned over 30 years. The veteran has won countless titles in many wrestling promotions and is a former WWE Champion. Mysterio at 49 years old still performs at a high level and puts on great matches for the fans in the Stamford-based promotion. However, he has spoken about hanging up his boots many times recently.
The Masked Luchador's perfect opponent to ride off into the sunset could be Penta El Zero if Triple H snatches him away from AEW after his contract expires. Penta and Mysterio have competed many times before and both have great chemistry in the squared circle. The Luchadors could potentially tear the house down at WrestleMania 41 and allow Rey Mysterio to end his career on his terms.
Penta's AEW contract is reportedly set to expire in a little over a month. It will be interesting to see if the veteran explores other options or heads directly to the WWE.
