WWE veteran to make AEW debut at All In and reveal himself as the new leader of The Elite? Exploring the chances
With AEW All In about to take place in a few weeks, a certain WWE veteran could make his debut at the pay-per-view as a new authoritative figure associated with The Elite. This would be Shane McMahon.
Recently, an image of McMahon and Tony Khan in a meeting surfaced on the internet, fueling speculation that the two were forming a partnership.
Shane McMahon could be brought in as an authoritative figure within the company, but he could swerve against Khan and align with The Elite as their leader. He could make his long-awaited arrival at All In at Wembley, seeing as members of the faction could be part of the match card.
Shane O'Mac could get involved in their match and introduce himself as not only the latest addition to the company but also another major figure in the fight between The Elite and Team AEW. During his time with WWE a few years ago, he played a similar role, calling himself the "Best in the World" and he could reprise this in a new company.
WWE legend thinks Shane McMahon could invade AEW with his new faction
WWE legend Lex Luger recently brought up an interesting angle with Shane McMahon that could take place should he make a move to the Tony Khan-led promotion.
During his appearance on Busted Open Radio, the veteran brought up the idea of an invasion angle featuring Shane. He suggested invading the promotion and bringing along a faction with him.
"What if Shane's just the tip of the spear, and they do an invasion of AEW with Shane, and then Vince comes into the picture? So Shane sort of brings a faction with him. Oh my gosh, could you imagine?" (24:22 - 24:43)
Luger also mentioned former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon possibly coming into the picture, but with Shane and his father not having the best of relationships and all the controversy surrounding them, this may not be possible.
But the idea of Shane debuting as a heel may be a possibility, as you can never say no in this industry.
