Port Adelaide Power: The team ahead of Round 16
On Thursday at 5:50 pm ACST, Port Adelaide will announce its extended squad for the Round 16 game, followed by the final team on Friday at 4:30 pm ACST.
The Power are under a lot of pressure this week following their recent streak of less-than-impressive performances. The club is currently number eight on the AFL ladder, but with the number of losses they have amassed within the past few weeks, the clash against the Saints is simply a must-win.
Willie Rioli (calf) was out late before the game against the Lions and is a test to play against St Kilda. Ruckman Jordon Sweet (head knock) isn’t listed on Port Adelaide’s Tuesday injury report, but Ivan Soldo (knee) will be out for four weeks after a blow.
At half-time last Saturday, Brandon Zerk-Thatcher was subbed out after a disappointing outing. Veteran Travis Boak should return shortly from an illness break. Uncapped midfielder Will Lorenz, who has been on emergency lists all season and amassed two goals and 21 disposals over the weekend, might have a chance to play this Sunday.
