Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Week 10
Fantasy Football RB Picks: Best Matchups of the Week
#1] Bijan Robinson at New Orleans Saints
Since Week 6 of the fantasy season, Bijan Robinson has played like the first-round pick we hoped and paid for. Against the Cowboys last week, Robinson turned in a season-high 145 scrimmage yards and his fourth-straight RB1 performance.
Robinson will go over 1,000 scrimmages this week, barring any injury, and has been a PPR beast with at least seven catches in back-to-back games. He'll look to keep it going against one of the weekend's best matchups.
Since starting 2-0, the Saints have been in a major tailspin, which resulted in the firing of head coach Dennis Allen last week. Seven straight losses and a horrific showing against the last-place Panthers the previous week were the nail in the coffin for the 52-year-old coach. Being a defensive-minded coach, you would've assumed the Saints could manage a respectable defense, but it's been the opposite in New Orleans.
The Saints have allowed the seventh-most rushing yards (1,229), most yards before contact (2.7), and third-most rushing touchdowns (12) this season. Eight of those 12 touchdowns have come in the previous five games for New Orleans. It's looking like another lost year for the Saints, and they will have one of the hottest running backs in all of fantasy football coming to the Big Easy this weekend.
#2] D'Andre Swift vs New England Patriots
Veteran D'Andre Swift has been a solid RB2 option this fantasy season, with 80 or more scrimmage yards in five straight games. This is with a rookie quarterback in Caleb Williams, who has been up and down this season. Swift has given this offense some stability after starting the season with RB49 and RB37 finishes in Week 1 and 2.
Swift had four straight RB1 results in four consecutive contests, including the overall RB3 and RB2 finishes in Week 4 and 5. Swift will try to keep it going against one of the worst rush defenses in the league in the early window on Sunday.
New England has allowed the sixth-most rushing yards (1,232), the third-most red zone carries (59), and the fifth-most rushing touchdowns (10) this season. Tennessee's Tony Pollard (featured right here last week) torched this defense with 31 touches for 154 scrimmage yards.
Since Week 4, this defensive unit has allowed at least 80 rushing yards to an opposing running back, including 100-plus yard performances to Jordan Mason (123), Joe Mixon (102), Tank Bigsby (118), and Pollard (128). We have Swift upgraded to an RB1 this week and should be started with confidence.
#3] Tyrone Tracy Jr. vs Carolina Panthers
If you have been following along with our fantasy football coverage this season, you know Tyrone Tracy Jr. has been one of our most hyped players for the previous month. The rookie showed glimpses of his explosive running style and had the makeup to eventually take over this Giants backfield.
Tracy Jr. has eclipsed 100 scrimmage yards in three of his previous five games to solidify himself as a beneficial asset in fantasy. Hopefully, you will get up early to see him in Germany this week (6 a.m. on the West Coast).
The Carolina rush defense will remain a weekly target no matter what country it plays in. The Panthers have allowed the most rushing yards (1,434), the most rushing touchdowns (15), and the most goal-line touchdowns (8) this season.
With those numbers, it's no surprise Carolina has allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Tracy Jr. continues to climb weekly rankings and should be a solid RB2 option this week.
