Fantasy Football Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets feat. Jerry Jeudy, Taysom Hill, and more
The waiver wire can be an excellent tool for optimizing your weekly fantasy football lineups. The primary goal is to utilize the bench spots to put your team in the best possible position to maximize each week's point total.
As we approach the closing stages of the fantasy season, we should ensure that rosters have the dependable depth we can pivot to if our fantasy stars become injured. Managers should proactively add the highest implied value running backs available while searching for pass catchers with new roles.
We will prioritize our top 10 players while featuring the best options in each position to assist you with your waiver wire decisions and FAAB suggestions before Week 13. We cast a wide net of potential targets, considering all players under a 70% ownership threshold on popular platforms like ESPN and Yahoo! Sports.

Waiver Wire RB adds for Week 13
#1 Jaylen Warren | Pittsburgh Steelers
ESPN 68% | Yahoo! 51% | FAAB Range 10-20%
Jaylen Warren has been featured in this column every week since Pittsburgh entered its bye in Week 9. The third-year back had been trending in the right direction lately, with RB21 and RB24 finishes in the previous two weeks. On Sunday, the 26-year-old turned in his best fantasy performance of the season with a RB11 against Cleveland.
Warren was on the field in 59% of Pittsburgh's offensive snaps and went over double-digit touches for the fifth consecutive game this season. He has at least 41 rushing yards and multiple catches in every game during that span, playing behind Najee Harris. Despite being in a timeshare, Warren is still worth up to 20% of your remaining FAAB if available.
Pittsburgh faces divisional rival Cinncinati this Sunday, who has been generous to fantasy running backs this season. The Bengals have allowed a rushing touchdown in three consecutive games to Zamir White, Derrick Henry, and J.K. Dobbins.
#2 Jeremy McNichols | Washington Commanders
ESPN 1% | Yahoo! 1% | FAAB Range 10-20%
It's rare to see a player go from rotational piece to lead back in a week. Jeremy McNichols would be in line to do that in Week 13, as the eight-year veteran could be next-man-up and potentially increase his snaps if Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler miss time against Tennessee this Sunday.
It was a tough day for the Commanders' backfield last week, as the loss to the Cowboys also knocked out Robinson Jr. (ankle) and Ekeler (concussion). Their status could remain murky until Friday's injury report — a full day after three Thanksgiving Day games have been played. With an additional Black Friday game, even the best fantasy managers must speculate if Washington will elevate McNichols' usage to starter levels this weekend.
Quarterback Jayden Daniel may be the only rusher to trust for the Commanders, who had a team-high 77 yards and a rushing touchdown last week. Tennessee is not an ideal rush defense to attack in fantasy football, as it has allowed up to 55 yards to a single back since Week 9. That includes matchups with Joe Mixon, Aaron Jones, J.K. Dobbins, and Rhmondre Stevenson during that span.
#3 Ameer Abdullah | Las Vegas Raiders
ESPN 1% | Yahoo! 0% | FAAB Range 5-10%
Ameer Abdullah is the perfect example of why you would want an injury replacement with sudden relevant usage. The 31-year-old back received 14 touches in the 29-19 loss to the Broncos last Sunday, subbing in for injured Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps).
The 10-year veteran led the Raiders' backfield in scrimmage yards while scoring the only touchdown on the day for Las Vegas. As mentioned above with McNichols, fantasy managers will have a tough decision with Abdullah's matchup in Week 13. The Raiders will have one of the worst matchups for fantasy running backs with Kansas City this Black Friday.
Waiver Wire WR adds for Week 13
#1 Jerry Jeudy | Cleveland Browns
ESPN 64% | Yahoo! 45% | FAAB Range 20-40%
Is there any doubt who the top dog is for Cleveland's pass catchers? We typically throw out heavy-impacted weather games in fantasy football, but last Thursday only strengthened his case that Jerry Jeudy is the best receiving option for the Browns. Since Week 9, Jeudy has led this passing attack in targets (28), catches (19) and receiving yards (300).
The Browns have been rejuvenated since quarterback Jameis Winston was elevated to starter in Week 8. Winston has thrown for 300-plus games in half of his starts since replacing Deshaun Watson and continues to push the ball downfield.
Denver originally drafted Jeudy, so he will have some extra motivation this week as the Broncos are next up in Week 13. With Patrick Surtain, Denver isn't the most ideal pass defense to attack, but it has given up significant receiving performances to Zay Flowers (127) and Jakobi Meyers (121) this season.
#2 Keenan Allen | Chicago Bears
ESPN 69% | Yahoo! 70% | FAAB Range 10-20%
Is Caleb back? The rookie quarterback turned in an overall QB4 performance in the divisional clash with the Vikings and looked to rebound from his mid-season slump. Since his overall QB1 finish in Week 6, Williams hasn't cracked inside the top 20 at the position until last week. His 340 passing yards against Minnesota were nearly more than the previous two weeks combined (351).
Veteran Keenan Allen was a direct benefactor in production with his season-best 15 targets. He turned those targets into a team-high nine catches and was second in receiving yards (86), only behind top pass catcher DJ Moore (106).
It was the highest receiving yards for Allen since Week 12 last year when he was playing with his former team in Los Angeles. The Bears have an exciting set of games coming with Detroit twice in four weeks, sandwiched with San Francisco and Minnesota.
#3 Rome Odunze | Chicago Bears
ESPN 62% | Yahoo! 70% | FAAB Range 5-10%
Continuing the conversation on the Bears' offense, rookie wideout Rome Odunze could also benefit from Caleb Williams's improved volume. If the team's offense trends in the right direction, he's worthy of a roster spot down the stretch.
Odunze (10) only trailed Keenan Allen's 15 targets last week and has received 33 targets in the previous four weeks. Fantasy managers want consistency in the yardage department before thrusting Odunze into your lineups. But if the rookie can turn the corner and step forward in his development, he could be a viable asset down the stretch of the fantasy season.
Waiver Wire TE adds for Week 13
#1 Taysom Hill | New Orleans Saints
ESPN 53% | Yahoo! 53% | FAAB Range 15-30%
This season, three tight end targets in the top 10 waiver wire priority list is a first. We need to start with Taysom Hill, who appears widely available through his bye last week despite finishing as the overall TE1 in Week 11.
Hill will be the overall TE9 heading into Week 13 but is owned on fantasy rosters in only half of ESPN and Yahoo! Sports leagues. The fantasy unicorn's ability to make explosive plays with his passing, running and catching abilities remains relevant even with limited opportunities.
Hill is just eighth in receiving yards (150) — on the Saints team. He only has logged three double-digit fantasy weeks, but his upside to be a slate breaker each start can be a league winner in a thin position down the stretch.
#2 Jonnu Smith | Miami Dolphins
ESPN 59% | Yahoo! 26% | FAAB Range 7-15%
Jonnu Smith has appeared on this priority list for the third consecutive week as the veteran tight end is experiencing a career year in Miami.
The 29-year-old pass-catcher received a team-high 11 targets against a poor pass defense in New England and finished inside the top 5 in tight end scoring for the second consecutive week.
Targets are king for the tight end position, and Smith only trails Tyreek Hill (73) in team targets with 63 on the season. If Smith is still floating around in your waiver wires, you should prepare your FAAB allocation upwards of 15%.
#3 Hunter Henry | New England Patriots
ESPN 71% | Yahoo! 45% | FAAB Range 4-7%
Hunter Henry led all Patriots pass catchers in targets and receptions for the second consecutive week but finished outside the top 12 tight ends in Week 12. The veteran missed an even more significant day if New England could've reached the red zone.
No Patriots pass catcher received a red zone target on Sunday as rookie Drake Maye threw for just 222 passing yards and an interception. Maye found Austin Hooper in a desperation toss with the game well in hand.
Henry's volume is in the field's intermediate areas, but he plays in a low-volume offense with the chance of Hooper volturing touchdowns. He's still the overall TE10 in half-PPR leagues — ahead of non-streaming options like Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Sam LaPorta and David Njoku.
