With the release of Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 9, the anime finally showcased the fight between Gotei 13 Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyoraku and Sternritter X Lille Barro. While the anime has pretty much remained true to the source material, Pierrot made some changes for a better transition between events.
The anime episode saw Shunsui Kyoraku take a major risk to locate Sternritter X Lille Barro. While Shunsui's ability was dangerous, Lille managed to counter it. But just as the battle became tougher, the Captain-Commander activated his Bankai, momentarily defeating his opponent.

Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 9: Every change made by Pierrot Films for the anime
Pierrot Films changed the story's chronology in Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 9
As seen in Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 9, the anime switched from the fight between Mayuri Kurotsuchi and Pernida Parnkgjas to Shunsui Kyoraku and Lille Barro. While the manga did switch the fight in this order, the moment the anime made the switch isn't the same as in the manga.
In the manga, the events only switched after Pernida Parnkgjas was defeated. However, in the anime, the switch was made between the fight, just after Mayuri Kurotsuchi's Bankai consumed the Soul King's right arm. Therefore, fans would possibly have to wait until the next episode is released, to learn what happens.
Pierrot Films changed Askin Naak Le Vaar's scene with Ichigo Kurosaki
As fans might remember, Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 9 showed Askin Naak Le Vaar's encounter with Ichigo Kurosaki. While the two characters were meant to meet each other at this stage, their dialogues were changed. In the manga, Ichigo was shown asking Askin about Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez's whereabouts as the Arrancar was last seen chasing after the Sternritter.
However, in the anime, the exchange was modified. The anime showed Askin asking Ichigo whether he had trained alongside the commanding officer of the Royal Guard, Ichibe Hyousube. While this question made no sense to Ichigo, learning the same was seemingly helpful for Askin as he planned to Reishi Poison his opponent.
Pierrot Films changed the visual of Shunsui Kyoraku's Bankai
While the anime pretty much remained true to its source material, the visuals for Shunsui Kyoraku's Bankai Katen Kyōkotsu: Karamatsu Shinjū were changed by Pierrot Films.
In the manga, the sky was only shown to have gone darker. However, in the anime, despite the characters referring to it as the same, there were some distinct changes. Unlike the manga, the anime saw the sky turn golden and the buildings in Wahrwelt get covered with a golden and purple pattern.
In addition, unlike the manga, the anime showed fans a small glimpse of Kyoraku using his Bankai ability Nidanme: Zanki no Shitone. This scene was nearly not shown in the manga.
