Blue Lock season 2 episode 11: Shidou scores with a bicycle kick as Barou enters the game

Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 was released on December 14, 2024. After the previous episode saw a substation in Team Blue Lock, the latest installment saw these substitutes in action (specifically against Shidou). Unfortunately, the substitutes' performance didn't matter as Shidou awakened his 'flow' and scored with a bicycle from the middle of the field.

As expected, everything was down the hatch for Team Blue Lock, and Ego was still adamant about not helping his team. However, Isagi jumped and mocked his team's coach for some help. Baro Shohei entered the field after a substitution as Team Blue Lock was now following no strategy and just following their guts into scoring a goal, however possible.

Blue Lock season 2 episode 11, titled What You Taught Us, commenced where it left off. Reo and Shidou were in a deadlock, with the latter player trying to score a goal. However, using his Chamelion Defense, Reo blocked Shidou's attempt and mocked him. After Isagi declared Oliver Aiku his next opponent, Shidou started thinking about his 'freedom' after Reo blocked his shot.

Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 then resumed the match with Team U-20 Japan with the ball. As expected, Itoshi Sae was still adamant about making Shidou shine, so he made a long pass to the other side of the field where no one was standing. Shidou, sensing a chance, chased the free ball and was inches away from scoring a goal with no defenders suppressing him.

However, his free ball was blocked by Gagamaru, who ran outside the penalty box and used his head to deflect the shot. As the ball was about to get deflected, Shidou was still feeling his goal. So, Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 saw Shidou do a backflip and make a bicycle kick from the middle of the field, which landed inside the opponent team's goalnet.

Team U-20 Japan was now winning (with the game being 3-2 to their side) as Shidou's goal (titled Big Bang Drive) wreaked havoc all around the field. Ego realized that the first person to awaken to awaken his 'flow' in the match was Shidou. Shidou immediately jumped into Sae, who knocked his teammate down for acting creepy.

Things were now getting hard for Team Blue Lock as the crowd and the scoreline were against them. Isagi then pleads before his Ego to ask for help. The coach was adamant that every player on his team had awakened an ego so that he could do nothing. Frustrated by the situation, Isagi mocked Ego for his short-sightedness and asked him to risk it all for Team Blue Lock.

Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 saw Ego accepting Isagi's request for help and substituting Otoya for Baro. As claimed by the coach in Blue Lock season 2 episode 11, he had no idea how the player would fit with the current team. As Baro entered the field, Isagi emphasized that his role was on the right wing, but Baro kept mocking anyone who reached out to him.

Eventually, Rin announced there was no need to follow normal tactics right now as they had to utilize every opportunity to score a goal. So, Team Blue Lock was back with their guerilla tactics (scoring at every opportunity). Team U-20 Japan, now with the upper hand, was focusing on the big shots of Team Blue Lock.

Eventually, Isagi Yochi received the ball and tried to make a shot. However, Baro stole the stole in a split second and rushed to the right wing. Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 saw Team U-20 Japan's surprised reactions over Baro's barbaric gameplay. After reaching the penalty box, Baro shot from a tight angle that hit the crossbar.

Fortunately, the ball landed on Yukimiya's feet, which awakened his 'flow.' Analyzing the field, Yukimiya easily rushed the distance between himself and the goal, which made everyone realize that he was using street soccer-style dribbling (presumably from Brazil). After making an angle, the Team Blue-Lock made a shot from a tight angle, hoping to score.

However, Oliver Aiku popped out of nowhere and blocked Yukimiya's shot. Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 saw Isagi realizing that Aiku had also awakened his 'flow.' However, Blue Lock season 2 episode 11 ended with the ball still free for anyone to grab.
