Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 12 will reveal Oliver Aiku's backstory
As seen in the previous episode, after Ryusei Shidou, U-20 Japan Captain Oliver Aiku also steps into the Flow state. With that, he is set to use his elevated reading and reaction skills to respond to all Blue Lock XI attacks single-handedly.
However, amidst this, as suggested by the preview images, Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 12 will also showcase Oliver Aiku's backstory. The anime had previously given fans a glimpse of this.
Aiku was shown asking his coaches to allow him to play the way he wanted. Unfortunately, his request was denied. In addition, the anime showed a cutting of a plant, possibly depicting Aiku's situation where coaches stopped him from blooming the way he wanted. With the next episode, the anime might explore his backstory further.
Reo Mikage might stop another goal in Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 12
As revealed by the preview synopsis, after Oliver Aiku stops Blue Lock XI's attack, the U-20 Japan team is set to launch another counterattack centered on Sae Itoshi and Ryusei Shidou. This isn't ideal for Blue Lock XI as conceding another goal would have meant a certain defeat. Fortunately, the team will save the goal by using the full strength of the defense.
While the preview synopsis hasn't stated this, as evident from the images, it seems like Reo Mikage will have a huge part to play in this. On top of that, fans could get to see him use Chameleon Defense again. Unfortunately, fans will need to wait to find out who he copies this time.
Sae Itoshi could stop Yoichi Isagi's attack in Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 12
Following Blue Lock XI's last grasp defense, the anime will see the team launch another counterattack centered on Yoichi Isagi and Rin Itoshi. However, as suggested by the preview images, Sae Itoshi might stop Isagi's plan from coming to fruition.
With that, the Blue Lock XI offensive midfielder could be forced to look for other goal-scoring opportunities, possibly assisting Rin Itoshi, Yukimiya Kenyu, Seishiro Nagi, or Shoei Barou.
