Chainsaw Man chapter 186: What to expect

With the crux of Denji’s plan to escape the Aging Devil’s world revealed, Chainsaw Man chapter 186 is expected to instead focus on Pochita and his next moves. Readers are likewise desperate for any and all spoilers they can find, curious to see if Pochita and Aging do end up fighting, or if Public Safety intervenes.

Unfortunately, there are no verifiable spoilers currently available for Chainsaw Man chapter 186 as of this article’s writing. Moreover, these spoilers are unlikely to come given the series’ digital publication nature, which inherently makes it much more difficult to obtain regular spoilers. Resultantly, fans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for such leaks on chapter 186 to come.

However, there are some likely directions for Chainsaw Man chapter 186 to head in given what fans currently know, even without the help of any story-based leaks. It is most likely that the upcoming issue will focus on Pochita versus the Aging Devil, but this is unlikely to be the only update it has in store for readers.

Chainsaw Man chapter 186 may finally reintroduce Kishibe via Pochita vs Aging Devil

Chainsaw Man chapter 186 will likely open up with a focus on the Aging Devil and the room it’s in, seeing all of the Public Safety agents inside try to clear out. However, Pochita will likely arrive in dramatically gory fashion before they can escape, killing all of them in a torrential downpour of blood as he faces off with the Aging Devil. Focus should briefly shift to Denji and Asa Mitaka/War Devil Yoru here, with Denji saying he can feel Pochita on the move.

This should prompt Asa or Yoru to ask Denji what his full plan is, which he should reveal here. Denji will likely explain that he wants Pochita to eat the Aging Devil so that the Aging Devil’s world ceases to exist as a result. This should then return them, as well as everyone else in it, to reality. However, Denji will add that since he doesn’t want to kill all those children, he plans on throwing up the Aging Devil’s head as soon as they’re back in reality.

Chainsaw Man chapter 186 should then return focus to Pochita versus Aging, which should be underway with Aging having a slight edge. Aging will likely have deduced Denji’s plan accurately just as he finishes explaining it to Asa in Aging’s world. This should prompt Aging to order Public Safety to prepare the kids for mass execution, trying to ensure the contract can be fulfilled in the brief moment in time where Aging is erased.

Focus should then shift to the Public Safety higher ups, who will likely be debating whether or not they should go through with the contract. Their concerns should stem from their obvious inability as an organization to control Pochita, prompting the reveal that Fumiko Mifune is present to convince them otherwise. She’ll likely all but convince them to do so when Hirofumi Yoshida interrupts, asserting that someone else high up in the group wants to take over.

This should prompt the reveal that Kishibe and Yoshida have been working together for all of Part 2’s events, looking out for Denji’s best interests as much as they can. Likewise, while Yoshida deals with the higher ups and Mifune, Kishibe should appear in the battle between aging and Pochita, with the chapter ending on this panel.
