After the hilarious conclusion to Momo Ayase, Ken “Okarun” Takakura, and Aira Shiratori’s latest fight, fans are more excited than ever for Dandadan episode 10 to push the story forward. While early leaks for television anime adaptations are very few and far between, fans do at least have a full preview for the upcoming episode shared at the end of the last.

Likewise, there are a few key plot points for the upcoming installment which can be gleaned from the preview, including what seems to be the continuation of the trio’s Serpoian skirmish. The Dandadan episode 10 preview begins with Momo, Okarun, and Aira all bowing in presumed apology to a clearly upset Seiko Ayase. Focus then shifts to Momo and Aira alone with each other at a table, their backs turned to one another. Momo’s expression isn’t seen, but Aira’s face is one of somber reflection. One of Momo’s friends is then seen in a dark room pointing a red light at Okarun, followed by Aira reappearing with a more disgruntled look on her face.

However, focus then shifts to what seems to be outside the trio’s school, where Momo and Aira have run into the Mantis Shrimp alien again. Aira is already in her transformed state, suggesting that their fight against the Serpoians isn’t quite over yet. Focus quickly shifts to a shot of Momo smiling and blushing, suggesting some exciting romantic development for her and Okarun’s relationship.

The preview then ends with Momo, Okarun, Aira, and Seiko all watching as a giant UFO is seen abducting a cow in classic sci-fi trope fashion. The episode’s title of “Have You Seen the Cattle Mutilation?” is also revealed in Japanese text, with the English translation confirmed via the official X account for the television anime series. While the preview is relatively short, there is a clear tone and path for the episode which can be taken from it.

Firstly, Momo and Aira will likely work out their issues regarding Okarun in Dandadan episode 10. This explains many of the scenes in which they appear together in the preview, as well as the scene which suggests Momo is romantically speaking to Okarun. More likely than not, Okarun confronts Aira regarding his feelings for Momo, which gives her the confidence to patch things up with Aira in turn.

The preview also suggests that Okarun will begin meeting and bonding with Momo’s friends, evidenced by the scene of him in a dark room with one of them. Okarun is also likely to be involved in the closing scene of a UFO abducting a cow, as is the Mantis Shrimp alien given his lone, fleeting appearance in the preview. It’s even possible that the fight with the Mantis Shrimp isn’t continuing at all, his presence in the episode instead being for a more benign reason.
