Dandadan episode 10 recap

Dandadan episode 10 began with Aira Shiratori, Momo Ayase, and Ken “Okarun” Takakura speaking with the school nurse, Queen. She asked them if they were bullied— to which they replied no— before leaving the office and allowing them to stay as long as they wanted.

They lamented their situations before heading back to class, with Aira’s friends coming to steal her away and Momo’s friends coming to tease Okarun and Momo.

In class, Aira tried to blame Momo, but eventually stood up for her, even calling the rumor about her fake and admitting that she was the one who started it. Aira left her classroom after, lamenting putting her popularity at risk for Momo’s sake.

This led her to sit at a table outside the school building, where Momo ran into her. They spoke briefly before being confronted by the Mantis Shrimp alien, who passed out shortly after reappearing.

He awoke in Seiko Ayase’s house, having had his wounds treated and being fed by her along with Momo and co. He then explained that his son has a condition where he loses all his blood daily, which is why he needs to work such dangerous but high-paying jobs.

Realizing his blood was milk, Seiko got him a dairy cow to use for his son’s medicine, which he was thankful for. The episode ended with Jiji’s introduction as Momo’s childhood friend, and first love.

What to expect from Dandadan episode 11 (speculative)

Dandadan episode 11 should open up with a focus on Jiji, as he settles into Seiko’s house and explains his sudden arrival to Momo. There will likely be something paranormal going on with Jiji’s family, given Seiko’s words in episode 10 that she heard everything from Jiji’s mom.

This would also explain why Seiko specifically was contacted by Jiji’s family, rather than going to more immediate family members for Jiji’s care in a typical emergency situation.

Episode 11 should then see Okarun and Jiji be given some time alone together, likely bonding quickly, but with some hesitance from Okarun given his feelings for Momo. However, the two will potentially inevitably bond, likely serving as a parallel to Aira and Momo’s relationship.

Likewise, their means of growing closer may mirror Aira and Momo, possibly seeing Okarun play a major role in saving Jiji’s life or granting him spiritual powers.
