Is Sung Jin-Woo stronger than Bellion in Solo Leveling? Explained
Solo Leveling season 2 will see Sung Jinwoo expanding his army of shadows even more. The prequel had some easter eggs so the sequel might tease the appearance of someone from the future, stronger than the protagonist. One such easter egg that might be featured could be the strongest shadow soldier, Ashborn. However, one question that viewers have is whether Sung Jin-Woo is stronger than Bellion in Solo Leveling.
Yes, Sung Jin-Woo, being the current Shadow Monarch, is stronger than Bellion and all the other shadows. However, Bellion, a shadow from the army of the previous Shadow Monarch, was the strongest shadow soldier to ever be created given how he instantly overpowered Beru, Jin-Woo's strongest soldier, in a single blow. Jin-Woo's abilities as a Shadow Monarch are on a superior level nonetheless.

Why Sung Jin-Woo is stronger than Bellion in Solo Leveling, explained
Sung Jin-Woo is the central male protagonist of Solo Leveling and the current Shadow Monarch after Ashborn. During the last years of Ashborn, the previous Shadow Monarch, Kandiaru offered him a hand in searching for a proper vessel. Ashborn ended up choosing Jin-Woo as his next vessel.
As Kandiaru didn't want a human to become the next Monarch, he challenged the protagonist to return to the dungeon. To Kandiaru's misfortune, Ashborn had betrayed him and the protagonist killed the person who created the System. Sung Jin-Woo was then officially declared the Shadow Monarch and accompaning him was his monstrous army of shadows.
Bellion is the first Shadow that was created by Ashborn and the strongest one among the shadows. He appeared in the last part of the manhwa series when Jin-Woo killed all of the Monarchs. Bellion offered his support to Jin-Woo, as he supported the Shadow Monarch in every era. Moreover, he also displayed his overpowered potential by defeating Beru, Jin-Woo's strong soldier, easily.
However, Jin-Woo stands atop as the strongest given his abilities as the Shadow Monarch. His umbrakinesis (ability to control any shadow at will), unlimited inventory (a collection of deadly weapons), and other overpowered abilities excel him over Bellion, who is naturally loyal to JIn-Woo and would never go as far as to challenge him.
Where does Sung Jin-Woo outshine Bellion?
While the question of who is the strongest has been answered, there are some things that could be compared between these two fighters that might differentiate them.
First things first, in overall strength, intelligence, and combat mastery, Jin-Woo has Bellion outclassed, even though the latter had decades-worth more experience in battle. Similarly, in active skills like bloodlust, the protagonist might be much more intense than the shadow soldier, given his status as the leader of the shadows.
Where does Bellion outshine Sung Jin-Woo?
Given how the protagonist might have Bellion beat in Solo Leveling, there are some departments where the shadow might have his leader beat. The first area might be in Sword Mastery, given how Bellion is an experienced swordsman whereas Jin-Woo prefers to use a dagger.
Bellion also had Jin-Woo beat in Whip Mastery, indicating that the shadow might be adept in using any weapon, whereas the protagonist could only use a few weapons in combat. Bellion, being a shadow, might also have a better Regeneration speed than Jinwoo.
