Kagurabachi chapter 59 recap

The chapter kicks off with Chihiro Rokuhira shocked to see Samura holding the blood-stained Tobimune, while Uruha's lifeless body lies in the pool of blood. He also notices Hakuri, who is unconscious. Samura tells Chihiro he hasn't charmed Hakuri. However, Chihiro still can't process what he sees.

Suddenly, he recalls Hiruhiko's words and realizes Samura's true nature. He lashes at the blind swordsman, asking why he would let the Hishaku have the Enchanted Blades his father forged. Samura realizes Chihiro has chosen the path of revenge, so he calmly tells him to put down his sword.

When Chihiro doesn't listen, he cuts him down. Just then, Shiba arrives at the scene and takes Chihiro away to safety. Shiba demands an answer from Samura over his actions, to which the swordsman says the Hishaku knows about their sins and plans to reveal them.

Moreover, Samura respects Shiba's wish to keep Chihiro in the dark about their sins. Following that, an unidentified narrator announces that Uruha and Chihiro are dead. The narrative then switches to the Hishaku's base, where Samura enters thanks to his Owl ability. The blind swordsman lashes at Yura for causing bloodshed at the temple.

However, the Hishaku's leader is content with the results, since they released the Enchanted Blades and incapacitated Hakuri. During their conversation, Samura reminds Yura about their promise. Yura says he won't have to worry as they made a pinky promise.

According to the chapter, Samura went to Kunishige's residence after his death and made a pact with the Hishaku. In exchange for helping the Hishaku, Samura would receive the personal information of all ten members of the Hishaku, the location of the Enchanted Blades, and the name of the informant in Kamunabi who leaked Kunishige's location.

Meanwhile, Yura feels Samura has gone too far, killing Chihiro. Hiruhiko catches Yura's remark and becomes enraged. He wants to avenge Chihiro since he desires to fight with him. Samura doesn't pay him much attention. However, he mentions that Yura did the right thing to quarantine the Kumeyuri blade, or else he would have killed Hiruhiko, the sword's new owner.

At any rate, Samura says he will end everyone in Hishaku once he completes the promise. Yura and the other unnamed Hishaku sorcerer at the scene know about the risk. However, the Hishaku leader doesn't seem too concerned about it. Samura then asks Yura for information on the other Enchanted Blade holders.

Yura says the Kamunabi has changed their defenses, and has vacated the fortresses. Therefore, he will need at least a week to analyze the new barriers and their personnel formation. Elsewhere, Chihiro Rokuhira regains consciousness in a hospital, surrounded by doctors. On the other side, Samura plans to end everything in a week, so Chihiro won't have to join them as a sinner.
