My Hero Academia fans can't believe One Piece's Eustass Kid "is soloing the verse"
My Hero Academia fans have been discussing the ending of the manga and realizing that several heroes are now using mechanical gadgets, which led to a One Piece fan on X named @Taktmp4 to claim that Eustass Kid would "solo the verse" if he was fighting those characters. This, naturally, sparked an online debate between the two communities with some interesting insights.
Eustass Kid's Devil Fruit in One Piece is the Jiki Jiki no Mi, which grants him the ability to create magnetic fields and, most importantly in this discussion, to manipulate metal to his will.
Therefore, it makes a lot of sense that this member of the Supernova would be able to get the upper hand over most of the My Hero Academia cast when considering how they rely on gadgets by the end of the manga.

One Piece fans claim that Eustass Kid would easily defeat most of the My Hero Academia cast
A person has mentioned how the ending of author Kohei Horikoshi's manga, after an eight-year time skip, shows several of the main heroes wearing armor, which could emphasize the technological advancements in the series.
However, there was a person on X named @Taktmp4 who stated that Eustass Kid from One Piece would easily defeat them, using a clip of NBA player LeBron James to highlight this.
As mentioned earlier, Kid's Jiki Jiki no Mi allows him to create magnetic fields and manipulate metal, to the point that he can create weapons in only a few seconds. Therefore, there is a strong argument to be made that he could manipulate the different metal armor and gadgets these heroes have and use them against them for a quick victory.
Granted, there are heroes in the series who don't rely too much on their gadgets but some use the armor to help their Quirks. From a writing perspective, Kid could possibly have an edge over the likes of Tenya Iida, Katsuki Bakugo, or Izuku Midoriya (mainly by the end of the series) since they all rely on gadgets.

Some My Hero Academia fans obviously stepped up in this discussion and mentioned how Deku, when using One For All, and Tomura Shigaraki, with his Decay Quirk, could defeat Eustass Kidd. However, One Piece fans have stated that while, on paper, they could deal Kid some serious damage but their favorite series has a higher power scale on average.
The claim is that the likes of Kid and other characters have greater abilities, to the point that Katsuki Bakugo's speed wouldn't compete with someone such as Monkey D. Luffy before starting to use Gear 2. This is especially telling when considering the characters in One Piece tend to have greater abilities with a lot more destructive abilities, such as Eustass' Damned Punk attack.
"Bro would basically be Magneto," someone said.
"Kidd finna enter the verse and be bored asf," another person said.
"He might even knock out some fodders using his temu haki," someone else said.
However, there were also some One Piece fans who claimed that while Kid would have the upper hand over most of the My Hero Academia universe, he would still find a way to lose.
That is a running joke in the fandom that this character constantly loses in the series and fails in everything he tries, with his victory in Wano over Big Mom being his sole consolation prize thus far.
"Tbh the chances of someone having a quirk that works just like Kidd's devil fruit are too high for them to not have countermeasures ready. Don't forget that MHA is a world set more than a hundred years into the future, surely they have ways to counter a magnet," another person said.
"He would find a way to lose," someone else said.
If anything, moments like this highlight how passionate the One Piece and My Hero Academia fandoms are when it comes to their characters.
