This information comes alongside the release of a new promotional video for the series, which also revealed and previewed the opening theme song for the upcoming series.

In addition to revealing the opening theme song, the ending theme song information was also shared via the anime’s official website. Alongside the release of the promotional video for the television Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe-hen anime series, a new key visual featuring the series’ central characters was revealed.

As mentioned above, the Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe-hen anime is currently set for a Japanese release date of Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 8 am Japanese Standard Time (JST). The series will premiere at this time on TV Aichi and six other TV Tokyo-affiliated stations per the official website. The series will then air once more on BS Nippon Television at 11:30 pm JST on the same day.

Streaming release dates and times are currently unavailable via the anime’s official website as of this article’s writing. However, a list of Japanese streaming service platforms that will be hosting the series is posted. This includes the usual suspects of ABEMA, d Anime Store, LEMINO, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and others. As of this article’s writing, there is no confirmed international streaming information for the series.

The Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe-hen anime’s opening theme song, previewed in the latest trailer, is titled Meramera and performed by Kis-My-Ft2. The ending theme song is titled Amairo and will be performed by Hina Aoki. The series’ cast is largely made up of returning members from prior seasons but features some new members. The series is effectively the second season of the larger Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez anime series, which premiered in Japan in January 2024. The upcoming installment serves as the eighth season of the franchise’s D Series overall, with the ninth season already confirmed to start sometime in 2025.

Bushiroad originally announced its intent to produce up to nine seasons of the current D Series of the larger Cardfight!! Vanguard anime. However, it later announced that it is planning not only a tenth season but additional installments beyond. The "D Series" moniker refers to both the latest product line for the card game and the anime series. Likewise, the card game will also continue beyond 2025 as the D Series franchise heads into its tenth season overall.
