Dr. Stone season 4 reveals January 2025 release date and more via trailer

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, TOHO Animation unveiled the main trailer for Dr. Stone season 4. The anime will premiere on January 9, 2025, and will be split into three cours. The anime trailer also announced the opening and ending theme song details, previewing the opening song.

Dr. Stone, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, is a Japanese manga series serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga was later picked up by TMS Entertainment for an anime adaptation. Since then, the studio produced three television anime and one special episode, with the final season currently under production.


Dr. Stone season 4 main trailer unveils opening and ending theme song details

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, TOHO Animation unveiled the main trailer for Dr. Stone: Science Future. According to the trailer, Dr. Stone season 4 will premiere on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 10 pm JST, on the Tokyo MX channel. Following that, the anime will be televised on BS11, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi.

The trailer also announced streaming details for anime as it will premiere on ABEMA, Amazon Prime Video, DMM TV, Disney+, and other streaming services in Japan at 10:30 pm JST. Subsequently, the anime will also be made available to stream on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Dr. Stone: Science Future will air for three cours with breaks between them.

As for the main trailer, it gave fans a look at the antagonists of the upcoming anime season, American Colony. Out of all the members, the trailer only previewed the voices of two characters, Dr. Xeno and Stanley Snyder. Dr. Xeno will be voiced by Kenji Nojima and Stanley Snyder will be voiced by Kouji Yusa.

Kenji Nojima previously voiced Shunsuke Kita in Haikyuu!! and Nobuchika Ginoza in Psycho-Pass. Meanwhile, Kouji Yusa previously voiced Edward Serfence in Wistoria: Wand and Sword and Nico Vorgeil in Undead Unluck.

The American Colony is set to attack the Kingdom of Science, waging a war against them. Unfortunately, as evident from the trailer, Senku and others are set to be at a disadvantage due to the technology and weapons possessed by Dr. Xeno's team. Nevertheless, the Kingdom of Science is set to fight back with the power of science, all while trying to safeguard its leader Senku Ishigami.

Lastly, the main trailer also revealed the opening and ending theme songs for Dr. Stone season 4. The opening theme song will be called "CASANOVA POSSE" and will be performed by ALI. Meanwhile, the ending theme song will be called "ROLLING Stone" and will be performed by BREIMEN. Fortunately, the trailer also previewed the opening song.
