New Hell Teacher Nube anime confirms Summer 2025 release, additional cast, and studio with PV and visual

The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the new Hell Teacher Nube anime shared a promotional video and visual on Monday, December 2, 2024, to confirm the anime's Summer 2025 premiere. The announcement PV revealed Ryotaro Okiyaku as the protagonist, Meisuke Nueno, aka Nube's voice actor. Additionally, the staff unveiled a new visual and revealed the production studio in charge of the series.

The new Hell Teacher Nube anime serves as a remake of the original TV anime, which aired 49 episodes from 1996 to 1997. The series is based on the original manga series written by Shou Makura and Takeshi Okano. Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump serialized the series from 1993 to 1999, with 31 tankobon volumes published.

According to a new visual and promotional video shared by the official staff on Monday, December 2, 2024, the new Hell Teacher Nube anime will be released in the Summer 2025.

Although the anime's staff hasn't disclosed an exact release date, the Summer season of anime usually begins in July. More information about the release date and the show's broadcast will be revealed in the future.

The staff shared the second teaser visual for the new Hell Teacher Nube anime. The illustration depicts Meisuke Nueno, best known as Nube, wearing a fearsome expression on his face. He is seen brandishing his Demonic hand in the visual.

Besides the visual, the official staff has streamed a cast reveal video. The short clip features Ryotaro Okiyaku, who has voiced many hit characters before, like Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach, Hisashi Mitsui from Slam Dunk, Kokushibo from Demon Slayer, and others.

Ryotaro Okiyaku has joined the voice cast as Meisuke Nueno, also known as Nube, a cheerful and kind teacher whom his students love. Notably, Ryotaro-san also appeared in the original anime series, which aired from 1996 to 1997, in the role of Nube. The voice actor also announced an audition for children to feature in the series as Nube's students.

The anime's official website has shared a special message from Ryotaro Okiyaku, where the voice actor reveals how he received a passionate message from the original creators, Shou Makura and Takeshi Okano, to "protect the kids of Class 5-3 once more." The voice actor recites Nube's iconic catchphrase from the series in the comments and urges fans to look forward to the new anime adaptation.

Besides the visual and cast information, the details regarding the new Hell Teacher Nube anime's production studio are revealed. According to the latest announcement, Studio KAI will be in charge of the animation's production. The esteemed studio recently collaborated with HORNETS to produce the 7th Time Loop anime.

The new Hell Teacher Nube anime will follow the original story written by Shou Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. The occultic narrative follows Meisuke Nueno, commonly known as Nube. He's a psychic teacher who fights monsters and spirits with his Demon Hand to protect his students.
