One Punch Man season 3 announces 2025 release with 10th anniversary PV and visual

On Friday, December 13, 2024, the One Punch Man season 3 anime finally confirmed that the series is set to air in 2025, i.e., the 10th anniversary since its first season aired. The anime also announced a 10th-anniversary project with a promotional video and visual.

As fans might remember, One Punch Man season 3 was first greenlit in August 2022 only to unveil its announcement video later in February 2024. The anime did not mention a release window and kept unveiling character visuals on the first Friday of every month. Fortunately, the series has now confirmed a release window alongside its 10th-anniversary project.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, the official X account of the One Punch Man anime revealed that the highly anticipated One Punch Man season 3 is scheduled to air in 2025. With this, the latest series will air in the 10th anniversary year since the first season began airing.

As part of the 10th-anniversary celebration, the anime has unveiled the “One-Punch Man 10th Anniversary 10 Punches Project.” This project will see the anime make ten punches (or announcements). The first punch is the season 3 anime release window confirmation.

The second punch is the 10th-anniversary visual and logo. The visual contains newly drawn artwork of ten characters from the series, namely Saitama, Genos, Fubuki, Tatsumaki, Suiryu, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, Garou, Vaccine Man, Deep Sea King, and Boros.

The third punch is the 10th-anniversary promotional video. The special video contains some of the most iconic action scenes from the anime that clearly depict Saitama's strength as the "One Punch Man."

The fourth punch is that the anime has made the non-credit version of the opening and ending theme songs of seasons 1 and 2, available on YouTube worldwide.

The fifth punch sees the first episode of One Punch Man seasons 1 and 2 be made available for distribution worldwide for free on YouTube with Japanese and English subtitles, albeit for a limited time.
