Sakamoto Days anime reveals new PV, cast, and more at Jump Festa 2025

On December 12, 2024, Sakamoto Days anime unveiled its second promotional video at Jump Festa 2025 Stage Blue. The new PV previewed the anime's ending theme song performed by Conton Candy. Additionally, the anime revealed some new voice cast members and their characters.

Sakamoto Days, written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki, is a Japanese manga series that has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 2020. The manga has been picked up for anime adaptation by TMS Entertainment and is set to premiere worldwide on January 11, 2025.


Jump Festa 2025: Sakamoto Days anime new PV previews ending theme song

Jump Festa 2025 Sakamoto Days Stage Blue was presented by the anime's main cast members Tomokazu Sugita (Taro Sakamoto), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Shin Asakura), and Ayane Sakura (Xiaotang Lu).

The Blue Stage unveiled the second promotional video for Sakamoto Days anime. The new PV opened by showcasing Tarou Sakamoto accepting the "No Killing Rule" proposed by Aoi. Right after, the anime showcased some of the light-hearted moments between Sakamoto and his friends and family.

Amidst this, the promotional video took a dark turn as it gave fans glimpses of the Order members and Slur group.

The promotional video also previewed the ending theme song for the anime. The ending theme will be called "Fuutsuu" and will be performed by Conton Candy.

Additionally, the Blue Stage also announced three new cast members for the Sakamoto Days anime. Hiroki Yasumoto will voice Hyo. The voice actor has previously voiced Yasutora Sado in Bleach and Daigorou Banjou in My Hero Academia.

Joining him will be Houchuu Ootsuka as the voice of Takamura. He has previously voiced Alfred Pennyworth in Ninja Batman and Thinker in Isekai Suicide Squad.

Lastly, Daisuke Namikawa will be the voice of X/Slur. He has previously voiced Hotaru Haganezuka in Demon Slayer and Ruijerd Superdia in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

Sakamoto Days anime is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11 PM JST, on TV Tokyo and other networks. The anime will also be available to stream on Netflix.

Additionally, the anime also revealed that its first episode will be made available to stream at the same time as the TV broadcast. However, the same will be delayed in the following episodes.

Lastly, Stage Blue also unveiled some manga information as both Sakamoto Days volume 20 and Sakamoto Holidays volume 1 will be released on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
