See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime's visual confirms the 2025 release window
The newly opened official website and X account for the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime shared a teaser visual on Friday, December 13, 2024, to announce that the series will be released in 2025. However, the staff hasn't mentioned an exact release date yet.
The teaser visual depicts a scene where the main heroines, Wada and Yamamoto, meet up at the food court. Notably, the illustration has a tagline, which reads as thus when translated to English:
"The two of them spend their everyday lives at their usual place."
Along with the teaser visual, the official staff has shared a commemorative illustration and comment from the original author, Shinchiro Nariie, on the anime's website and X account.
The illustration features Wada and Yamamoto, celebrating the anime adaptation's news. Shinchiro Nariie feels the best production team has come together to create a narrative about high school girls "talking nonsense in food court."
According to the announcement, Kazuomi Koga from the Rent-a-Girlfriend anime directs the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime at AtelierPontdarc studio, with Jukki Hanada overseeing the scripts. Kyuta Sakai is enlisted as the chief animation director and character designer.

The plot of See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime
Based on Shinichiro Nariie's comedy manga, the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime follows the story of Wada, an honor student with an air of mysterious aura around her, and Yamamoto, an intimidating girl with a Gyaru fashion sense.
Although they have seemingly nothing in common, they love to indulge in their daily meetings at the food court after school. As such, the anime will explore a unique bond between two friends, who are polar opposites of each other.
